Whether it’s a short story, article, business document, full length novel or anything else, you’re going to want gone over with an eagle eye for spelling and grammar before it goes out.
Critiques
This can be just the ticket if you’re a budding writer, trying to decide what comes next: get an experienced professional to read through it and tell you what works and what doesn’t, and what you could do to make your work everything it can be.
Editing
For when you need that extra touch to get a piece of work into the best possible shape, tidying up cluttered sentences and trimming away the unnecessary stuff.
Copy and Audio Typing
Maybe you’ve got a heap of hand-written notes, or a printout for which you’ve lost the text file. Typing it up can be a wearying and time-consuming process – unless, of course, you can pay someone else to do it for you. The same goes for anything that’s on tape, CD or MP3 file.
Research
Write what you know, they say, but sometimes you just have to write about something you don’t. That’s when it’s time to research- lots of slow, patient digging through books and websites. Or, of course, you can pay someone else to do it – me, for example.
